Our School Day
Children have a 30 hour week at Linden Bridge School.
The school day begins at 9.15 am
Primary
- Morning break 10.45 – 11.00
- Lunch 11.45 – 13.00
- Afternoon break 14.05 – 14.20
Secondary
- Morning break 10.30 – 10.45
- Lunch 12.00 – 13.00
- Afternoon break 14.05 – 14.20
The school day ends at 3.15 pm
Morning and Afternoon Procedure for Pupils Arriving and Departing
The majority of pupils are transported to and from school via taxi or minibus.
With this in mind we have very strict procedures for the arrival and departure of pupils at the beginning and end of the school day, these are controlled by our Banksman.
The main school gates are closed at 9.15am, to unload at the beginning of the day, and at 3.15pm, in preparation to load up for the journey home.
All children remain in their vehicle or within the school building until the Banksman deems it safe for staff to begin collecting pupils for the school day, or taking to their transport to make the journey home.
