Attendance
The staff of Linden Bridge School are committed, in partnership with the parents/carers, pupils, Governors and The Howard Partnership Trust, to building a school which serves it's community.
The School firmly believes that all pupils benefit from regular school attendance. To this end we will do all we can to encourage parents/carers to ensure that the children in their care achieve maximum possible attendance, and that any problems that prevent full attendance are identified and acted on promptly.
Linden Bridge believe passionately that Early Intervention and collaborative working can ensure pupils’ attend school regularly. The Family Support Worker and Wellbeing Team provide support, advice and information to families that fall into the area of concern with their attendance. The Safeguarding Team meet weekly and look at pupils’ attendance as part of their monitoring schedule and any pupils whose attendance is a concern is picked up swiftly and support and strategies will be offered. Any pupils whose attendance is close to the 95% threshold will also be monitored closely.
